Formula Tour 1600 – Hindman wins at Canadian Grand Prix

Montreal, Quebec, June 14 – MAZDASPEED Motorsports Development driver Trent Hindman capped off a successful debut with Brian Graham Racing (BGR) by picking up the win in only his second start in Formula Ford 1600 competition at Le Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal. The Wayside, N.J. driver bested a field of 40 drivers in wet conditions to take the victory in the prelim to the Formula One Grand Prix of Canada. Hindman got the weekend off to a strong start, qualifying his BGR Team Grote car eighth on Friday and finishing Race 1 in sixth on Saturday. The win comes less than two weeks after picking up his first win in Skip Barber National competition at Lime Rock Park.
