Buffalo Grove, IL (July 24, 2013) – Following a thrilling victory at Watkins Glen International Speedway during the last round of Continental Tires Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC) competition, Fall-Line drivers and crew are looking to continue the momentum headed into this weekend’s event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The #46 Trim-Tex Drywall Products/ Fall-Line Motorsports BMW has had two fantastic results the past two events with a 4th place finish at Mid-Ohio and their amazing drive to capture their first victory at Watkins Glen during the last race event just a few weeks ago. Mark Boden and Bryan Sellers have been consistently quick throughout the 2013 season and results have finally started coming their way and reflecting the speed and consistency that they have not been able to capitalize on until recently. The duo finished 6th last year at the Brickyard for the inaugural Brickyard Sports Car Challenge.
The #48 Cirocco Ozzimo/ Atlas Acon/ DFL Interiors/ Fall-Line Motorsports BMWwill be sporting a new look this weekend as newcomer to the series, Trent Hindman, joins Charles Espenlaub for this weekend’s event and also the remainder of the year. Hindman has spent the first half of 2013 with Fall-Line racing a Porsche GT2 in SCCA.
Trent Hindman, “I’m really looking forward to my first Continental Tires Sports Car Series weekend with the Fall-Line guys! It’s extremely exciting for a young driver such as myself to be working with such an experienced and successful team. I have no expectations for results (though I would like to be running up towards the front!) but my goal for the weekend is to learn as much as possible and form a good partnership with Charles (Espenlaub). I feel what’s learned this weekend is key if Charles and I want to be a force to be reckoned with in the future. Also, I would just like to say a big thank you to Michael Harvey, Mark Boden, Chris Lerch, and all of the guys from Fall-Line who have brought me this far along. I really appreciate all of the hard work and faith these guys have put towards me over that past few months. Now lets go win us a race!”
The #45 Eagle/ B+ Foundation/ Fall-Line Motorsports BMW will, of course, be piloted by none other than Al Carter and Hugh Plumb this weekend as they are also coming off their best finish of the year after taking home 3rd place at Watkins Glen and capturing their second podium finish in CTSCC. This charismatic driver pair has also had a string of unfortunate, unavoidable mishaps this season but hopefully luck has turned their way. They finished 27th at last year’s Indy event after contact by a slower ST car caused significant damage that took many laps to repair.
Michael Harvey, Team Manager: “We are very excited to get back to Indianapolis, we feel this is a good track for the Fall-Line BMW’s. Following a strong team performance at Watkins Glen we are looking to continue the momentum at Indy. It is great to welcome Trent (Hindman) to the Continental team starting here at Indy. He is such a youthful talent and we have had the great fortune to be a part of his growth so it will be very satisfying to be involved in the next steps.”
